Prosject 7x52 is Dead...

LONG LIVE INTERMITTENCY!!!

I guess I should have known it would fail from the onset... I mean.. I started my website and artistic identity with the moniker of Intermittent Artist for a reason.  My forays into artistic endeavors have forever been limited by the fact that they only truly thrive on the off chance that one of my feverishly manic bouts of "vision" happens to cross with a sporadically active motivation to execute.

At the start of the year I was aiming to fix this by attempting to force executional motivation to hopefully push myself into improving my technique to a point where the results would themselves begin to provide the motivation to create and continue capturing.  This did prove to be a successful venture up to a certain point as I did begin to find a nice stride with my new camera and developed a few new skills along the way.  

No matter how rewarding the initial experience has been, this year has proven to be immensely challenging on many personal and professional levels.  While photography did provide a much needed escape through some of the initial stresses, in the end the combination strains ultimately engulfed my motivation to keep the shutter clicking on a daily/weekly basis.

I have continued to capture some trips and experiences recently and hope to have a few update posts coming soon.  Going forward I think I'll focus my efforts more on experience and travel photography for more mini-projects as opposed to the attempted steady stream...

Intermittency appears to be the key for me..
