Like most people, I do love the Christmas season. Though having been born and raised in Louisiana with the abundance of sunny, t-shirt wearing December 25ths does tend to keep the word season strictly relegated to being just a period of time.

With the quickly shortening days settling into ever darker and colder nights and with no concerns of showing irreverence towards Thanksgiving, Norway tends to go all out Christmas crazy on November 1st... and I have to admit that I absolutely do not hate it!
